POD Save the Queen!

Hello and welcome to POD the Queen.

I am Zowie Fawcett, your host this week and I'm joined, as always, by Russell Myers.

Now we've got a lot to talk about this week because we've had the state opening of Parliament,

which Prince Charles stepped in and carried out for the first time.

We also had a really emotional engagement from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and we now know that the Sussex

are going to be coming over for the Jubilee so lots to get through it so

hi Russell how are you? I'm very well I'm in not so sunny Manchester but it hasn't dampened my spirits.

Oh, yeah.

What a smooth line.

As I said, normally we're used to speaking to you in hotel rooms.

I love Manchester, I don't get wrong, but it's normally a little bit

warmer in recent places.

It's not the glam at night when you could have been in Dubai, I suppose the last time we spoke in

hotel, but I was here for a very important

occasion yesterday which will come on to later and I got to see some buddies last

night because I used to I used to get to university in this part of the world over in

Liverpool so it was nice to see it's always nice to be back up in the northwest for sure.

Oh very nice so how's your head this morning? I didn't, I wasn't boating actually.

Oh, I've had a lot of work on at the moment. I'm being very sensible.

What has happened to you?
