Professor Keith Whittington is the William Nelson Cromwell Professor of Politics at Princeton University.

He is an expert on constitutional law, politics in history,

and American political thought.

I listened to a conversation he had with

Judge Lutick and Judge Lutick used to be on the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and

was on the short list probably for the United States Supreme Court. And I thought that conversation was fascinating.

And I know Judge Lutick a little bit,

I did not know Professor Whittington at all,

but I listening to him, I thought he would be a great person for us to talk to about impeachment which starts this week and when I say impeachment I don't mean the political aspects of it

people can sort that out for themselves I mean the law and the history of impeachment.

You do not need a PhD to talk about the politics of whether you like a political candidate or not.

But you may need a PhD to know the history of impeachment as well as Professor

Whittington does. So that's my hope is that we take a little different approach to it with that. Welcome to you Professor Whittington.
