Fox. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesdays with Trey. I attended Spartanburg High School in my hometown of Spartanburg South Carolina and I had three of the most solid years of mediocrity and relative

anonymity as you can possibly have in high school.

And I think I always felt sort of guilty for not being a better student in high school.

So when my old high school invited me back later in life to speak to a class or speak to a beta club

installation or an organizational meeting of the National Honor Society always accepted.

I accept it as a way of sort of making up for my lackluster performance when I was a student

there. Actually the first thing I did when I was a student there.

Actually, the first thing I did when I got invited to speak to the Beta Club

or the National Honor Society was I went and looked up what those two groups were

because those were not groups or societies that I was part of when I was a student there.

You probably already know this, but if you're wondering, they're both like scholastic excellence

groups that are based on good grades, which explains why I didn't know anything about

them when I was in high school, but I do now. I've actually spent more time in the library

at Sparmark High School as an adult than I ever did as a student.

When I was a district attorney many years ago, Spartan High

invited me to come back for a reading series they were having and this reading series was over the course of the summer.

The school would provide books to the students so they could have a free book to read over the summer and keep learning even though
