So the timeline is you've got these these cases

That simply were not investigated

And now we're finding people that were on those lists of those cases who committed multiple crimes after that.

Can you imagine if you're a rape victim and your case got dismissed?

This is as scandalous.

See, people tend to be very offended by sex stories

because Americans have a very uncomfortable relationship with sex.

If a chief was having sex with whoever that would be a major story

But if a chief is covering up

Hundreds of thousands of serious crimes in this case they happen to be sexual,

doesn't matter.

It's harder for people to understand the indignation,

the sense of righteous indignation you should have against this.

But here's where this gets interesting.

It's not that they did it. We know they did it.

The question is, why didn't we find out about it for 10 years?

There are people who are blowing the whistle internally. Why didn't we find out about it? Well, then it gets more interesting because the chief doesn't begin

an investigation until February of this year

after Jeremy Regowski breaks the story.
