We are ladies and gentlemen at an apparent crossroads in this great country of ours.

Before us is a

decision that has to be made. There's a junction, an obvious choice of future direction. The choice,

of course, for most sensible people appears to be pretty clear. Lockdown the entire country

again in order to safeguard the economy while at the same time destroying it, or learn to live

with a virus that isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Today, the Chief Medical Officer Chris Witty and his chief scientific advisor, Patrick Valence,

will address the nation to explain that the rate of COVID-19 infections is, in his words,

heading in the wrong direction.

Well, how about this for a thought, Professor?

Maybe you're actually heading in the wrong direction and when you should be heading for the door. There's much talk of R rates going up and more people testing positive,

but there are so many holes in the data and so many holes in the science.

It's like looking at a piece of Swiss cheese.
