Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk of Radio.

It is deja vu all over again, ladies and gentlemen,

just when you thought we were getting to grips of this coronavirus, getting back to work,

getting back to what we used to do naturally, getting back to some kind of normality that doesn't

involve wearing a mask or hiding inside your house all day. This happens. Yesterday, Chris Witty,

the Chief Medical Officer and Sir Patrick Balance, the government's chief scientific officer,

gave their best impression of the doom and gloom twins, warning that 200 people a day will be dying come November if we don't change course and start locking everything down again.

Though, of course, as they pointed out, that is not a prediction.

Tonight we will hear from Boris Johnson about the state of the nation, but he will earlier address the House of Commons on the new measures that he wants to put in place.

The best information that we can give you is what you probably already know, and that is that they're more than likely they're going to put a curfew on all bars and restaurants so that 10 o'clock will be the last knockings and you'll probably have to be
