My name is Vince D. D. D. D. D.Rios. And I'm joined today by Jesse Stiers. And we have

an abbreviated show for everyone today. But a lot of there is hockey. Well, there's a lot to talk

about, number one, like, as you mentioned, there's a lot to talk about. And limited time to do it because the hockey

game, I believe, starts at 630 today, which means pregame starts at 615, which means we are out

at 611 of all times. So we got a lot to do today. And the first thing I want to bring up, Jesse, and I know, obviously, you weren't on the show yesterday.

And we got the news around 430 that Lou Holtz passed away.

And basically from like 430 on until right now, so a little over 24 hours, we've just seen nothing but we talked about it a bunch on the show,

you know, what he meant to us, you know,

just how he affected our lives,

whatever the case may be, stories about meeting him, whatever.

I want to give you an opportunity to give your thoughts on Lou Holtz.

You know, obviously, you're a lot younger than I am. You're a lot younger than your dad, obviously.

And so Lou Holtz may mean something different to you than it did to us. And so I just want to

kind of give you the floor to start off with

and kind of give your thoughts on Lou Holtz since he passed away yesterday at the age of 89.

Yeah, Vince, I think that for someone like me, you just appreciate Lou Holtz's greatness,

because obviously I wasn't around, you know, quite yet between the years that he was at Notre Dame,

but you just heard of the success.

And I think one of the cooler things that I attribute to Lou Holtz is one of my best friends' dads

played safety at the University of Notre Dame, and he got recruited by Lou Holtz.

And that was kind of, you know, in their heyday.
