And it's a bit of a sprint to the finish line here.

Jesse, we are going to be out in about a half an hour as Notre Dame hockey has a game at 630.

Pregame starts at 615.

And so we don't have a whole lot of time left. But what we do have time for is to talk

a little Marcus Freeman because there's always time to talk Marcus Freeman. He was on Good Morning

Football on the NFL network this morning and obviously talked about a variety of topics. And

one of them was legendary former Notre Dame coach,

Lou Holtz, who passed away yesterday,

and they asked Freeman how Holtz's legacy

still impacts the Notre Dame program today.

When you think of his career, you think of greatness, you think of excellent.

You know, I still hear the year of 1988, the national championship year every day around here.

But I think you think about his teams as a whole, his tenure as a whole at Notre Dame,

the impact he made on this university.

Like everybody loved Coach Oldtops and everybody talks about him in a way that,

as a current head coach, you say, you know what?

When I'm done coaching or when my time is up, I hope I can make an impact the way Coach Holts did.

At Notre Dame, but I was in college football.

So his legacy will live on and his impact will still be felt here in South Bend.
