| 0:59.0 | Well, that sounds nice. |
| 1:04.8 | But I also thought, that's great. |
| 1:06.9 | That that's maybe what my topic is today, |
| 1:10.7 | because that topic is a very buddistic topic, |
| 1:15.6 | and it's the topic of refuge. And so those of you don't know much of Buddhism, it'll become |
| 1:23.6 | clear, well, you know, how central it is. And refuge, and the idea is to, often we talk |
| 1:31.1 | about going to refuge or going in refuge, going to some place that's safe or some place |
| 1:37.5 | that's protected. And that can be both inspiring to some people to know there can be safety to be had in this dangerous world we live in. |
| 1:52.2 | And for some people, they could seem kind of off-puting because it seems like it's withdrawing, |
| 1:57.4 | that's pulling back into some place that we're going to be all safe and comfortable and not really in the world how it is. So I'll tell you a story from some years ago. |
