| 1:04.7 | tension and force. And one of the things I've been emphasizing this week is that the ways in which our thinking, |
| 1:15.7 | the ways in which desire and aversions, and the ways in which identity, how we identify ourselves, |
| 1:23.3 | can be divisive in ourselves. |
| 1:27.9 | How it could create divisions, fragmentations, |
| 1:31.4 | how it contributes to not being fully in touch with ourselves, |
| 1:35.9 | sometimes even a disassociation or disconnection from ourselves. |
| 1:41.2 | And because to try to develop samadhi while being disconnected is going to be much harder. |
| 1:48.6 | It's through being connected. |
| 1:50.8 | Somebody is a gathering together. |
| 1:52.9 | It's a collectiveness. |
| 1:55.6 | Everything collected together, collectiveness of mind and body. |
| 2:00.3 | And so we have to kind of understand how we do the opposite. |
| 2:04.7 | And then to understand how to use the mind, how to use the attention, |
| 2:10.0 | so that that attention doesn't further the division, to divide, |
| 2:15.6 | that attention actually begins to heal it. So to use attention in a, like a laser |
| 2:22.3 | focus, in a fixed way, determined way, to blast through something or blast into concentration, |
