Today, I'll be telling the story of Heather Snively and Karina Roberts.

Quick disclaimer at the top of the show here, Miss Alicia, well, the cough says it all. She's recovering from an illness, the croup,

if you will, and colic. And you had to go days without me speaking, you poor thing. I had to do

most of the talking in the house, and it sucked. I'm still recovering.

I was recently contacted by my friends at Peninsula Television who asked me to help them tell the story of Heather Snively.

They contacted me because that was one of the first cases I covered nearly seven years ago, which is hard to believe.

I remembered the case well, not just because of the content,

but also because I conducted one of my very first interviews with detectives. And if I remember correctly, that was, I think, our eighth episode, which would have been only like my third

that I did on my own. So it's been a while. You were a baby. I was. You didn't know how to talk into a microphone.

You didn't know how to write things. Back when I first covered this story, I had the privilege of

interviewing the two detectives who worked on the case firsthand. I will have the audio of the

interviews available on our Patreon edit, but for quality's sake, I'll just be using the information from those interviews to fill in the blanks.
