Hey Deservingerving Listeners, one of my favorite movies are Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, 2004, and Adaptation 2002.

I have a hard time deciding which of these two are more important to me. I think I would say Eternal Sunshine. It's also one of my wife's favorite movies of all time. We have a poster of it in our living room right now. These movies are written and directed and

active but particularly written in such an amazing way and I can rewatch

both of these movies for the rest of my life.

It would, you know, if there were like 10 movies that I could only watch for the rest of my life,

these two would probably be on that list.

Written by the same writer, which is Charlie Kaufman. He wrote

Eternal Sunshine, he wrote adaptation. Most people know Charlie Kaufman from

being John Malkovich. So you have this just powerhouse of movies that Charlie Kaufman wrote between films being released 1999 to 2004.

This is a five year period of time where you have human nature adaptation

you're just thinking my god if this guy even

pumps out one classic movie every five years instead of every year. We are looking at possibly the best

screenwriter that has ever lived. I was just super on board with him. It made me

fall in love with the directors, Michael Gondry, and

Spike Jones and maybe realize that Jim Carrey could actually act, that Nicholas Cage

could play very nuanced characters, that John Kuesack and Cameron Diaz weren't just Rom-Con people and then he releases a number of

movies, Amalisa, which I like. Anomalisa. Anomalisa, sorry. it's a stop motion movie kind of weird but still

very much enjoyable I liked it but going back to 2008

Sinectakee York, which I hated.

That movie came out soon after a tunnel sunshine at the spotless of mine and I thought,

man, I am, this movie is just going to be, it's the next Charlie Kaufman movie it's going to be awesome and Charlie Kaufman's going to direct it so man
