Summary

Tonight’s guest, Lance, is a Sasquatch investigator who lives near the border of Vermont and Upstate New York. About 20 years ago, Lance had his first encounter with a Sasquatch. That was the day his girlfriend hit a Sasquatch with her car. When Lance went to the place where she had hit it, he had his encounter. Lance’s encounter happened in Washington County, New York, near Whitehall. On tonight’s show, Lance is going to talk us through what happened that day, as well as what happened when he had his more recent encounters. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to him do that.

My name is Lance. People call me Lance a lot. I'm from Vermont, upstate New York, right on the border.

My background, I'm actually an Army infantry veteran, and I was a detective and a sergeant in the police department.

I retired after 11 years, so I had almost two decades between the military and law enforcement.

And I have been an avid outdoorsman my entire life, hunting and fishing and camping, spending time in the Green Mountain National Forest, the Adirondacks, and just all around, you know, in the woods.

Ever since I was a little boy, I've always kind of had an interest in Sasquatch and I was actually born in an area referred to as the Bennington Triangle in Vermont.

Kind of like the Bermuda Triangle. All sorts of weird stuff happens. But with that, it's an area that's known for Sasquatch.

And it's not that far from an area that's well known for Sasquatch called Whitehall, New York.

And that's in Washington County. And Washington County is where I had my first experience about 20 years ago.

I was 16 years old.

So about 20 years ago, I was a 16-year-old boy and I was hanging out with a couple of my buddies

and my mother and stepfather were gone for the weekend.

So we were going to do some partying and some stuff that 16-year-old boys do that's not supposed to do.

And with that being said, we all wanted to hang out with each other, just the guys.

And my high school girlfriend at the time, she wanted to hang out with us, but I wasn't

really looking for that. I just wanted to hang out with my buddies. So after a while, she talked

us into meeting her down at Stewart's, which is like a local gas station kind of coffee chain

in upstate New York.

And we met down there for a little while.

And then my two buddies and I went back to my house and she drove back to her house.

Now, where she resides, I mean, Washington County is very rural.

The population is between 50 and 60,000, and it's, I mean, it's over 850 square miles. And the northern part of it's like the southern part of the Adirondacks and the entire eastern border of Washington County borders, the state of Vermont.
