Summary

Tonight’s guest, Monty, has had two cryptid encounters. He’s only going to share the first one on tonight’s show, because that was his only Sasquatch encounter. The second encounter was with a Dogman. When Monty had his Sasquatch encounter, he was only 16 years old. He had his little brother Robbie and a good friend, John, with him when it happened. What started out as a fun camping trip, up on the mountain behind Monty and Robbie’s home turned out to be the most frightening experience either of them had had, until that point. That night, one thing led to another and the next thing the boys knew, they were all running for their lives down the mountain, trying to make it to the relative safety of their home. What happened? 0:11.8	I've got four children and two stepchildren.
0:16.4	And I do traffic control for a living.

0:23.6	I've had two encounters with something, the first of which I'm going to tell the night.
0:31.6	Okay. So I was about 16 years old.

0:38.3	His name was Robbie, and he was 13.
0:40.9	And we had a friend named John that was, I think he might have been six or eight months older than I was.
0:47.3	But he was a Florida transplant up here to Giles County, Virginia, which that's where all this takes place, by the way,

0:59.4	And there's a, we used to have a double wide that my dad, mom had like built down there.
1:10.4	And my father was a heavy equipment operator.
1:14.5	So to cut down on the cost, he was the person who got the front end loader and came in
1:21.8	and built the building pad for for that and everything.
1:24.6	And I'd say that our double wide had been there for probably eight to 10 months, maybe a
1:36.3	little bit longer, maybe about a year and a half, because I just remember that we had to
1:41.2	shovel, or not shovel, but rake rocks off the, off the hillside forever. I mean,
1:47.2	it was just like forever. It seemed like for five or six years, we were just raking and raking and raking.
