Summary

Tonight’s guest, D’von Gilpon, was born and raised in France. In the 90’s, when he was around 12 or 13 years old, he moved to Oklahoma, with his mother, after she remarried. Fast forward to the year 2000. One day in the year 2000, D’von had gone on a camping trip with a group of his friends and their families at Lake Arcadia, which is northeast of Oklahoma City. The night they got there, D’von decided to explore the area around the lake, to see what was out there. He was hoping to find something interesting on that walk. It’s a gross understatement to say that he did. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to him chronicle what happened on that walk and what happened when he had his next experience.

0:12.2	I'm originally from Europe, France, to be exact.
0:15.7	I came here when I was around probably 12 or 13 years old, late 90s.
0:22.6	I had my experience in 2000, by the way.
0:26.9	Currently, I work in a zoo with bears.
0:31.8	I've been working there for quite a while, and that was always my biggest interest in life.
0:36.6	I wanted to have a type of bear sanctuary or something because they're always my favorite
0:41.7	animal that fascinated me the most and whatnot.
0:44.5	So I somewhat got my wish being in management at the zoo with the bears and it's a wonderful
0:51.3	job, you know, dealing with them and especially the baby cubs and things like that.
0:59.7	As far as other hobbies and stuff, I do like to go camping and hiking and things like that.
1:10.0	I like tornado chasing, but not getting too close, you know, because it really is scary.
1:19.2	That pretty much wraps it up as far as that goes.
1:26.0	With the Sasquatch sight, I was in the year 2000.
1:31.9	I had just gotten out of, I believe, the eighth grade for summer.
1:37.6	Me and I think four or five friends of mine decided to go on a camping trip.
1:44.6	And I live in north Oklahoma, close to Oklahoma City right now.
1:51.3	The exact area this took place in is called Lake Arcadia.
1:56.0	It's not too far away from Oklahoma City, but it's a very heavily, heavily wooded, forested area with a lake around it.
2:06.5	I'd been leaving in Oklahoma since I came here because that's where my mother, I ended up going to from her new marriage.
2:14.4	And, yeah, we scheduled that camping trip.
