I have been so looking forward to this series for the last couple of months just been stirring

and sort of thinking together about it's called Belize.

And the idea is this, that each one of us faces every single day two paths.

And on this one path we can either be fueled by fear, and that's like a wildfire.

It's like when a little blaze happens in a forest and the winds pick up and blow, it

just turns that little bity blaze into an uncontrollable fire.

We can either be fueled by fear, and that's not just a couple of us, that's everywhere.

You look around, it's college students, it's high school kids, it's little kids, it's

their parents, dealing with all kinds of anxiety and worry and fear and closing in on us

collectively as a society.

So we're kind of facing every day in life, this path of being fueled by fear or being

rooted in faith.

And I really want to help us over the course of these days to become people whose lives

are not just fanned by all kinds of worry and anxiety, but whose lives are rooted down

in who God is, what He's done, what His Word says is true, so that our lives can become

free from fear and free from worry.

And I just want to let you know ahead of time tonight, I'm actually very qualified

to lead us in these talks, I know that sounds a little bit bold to say that, but everybody

in life has a point of view, all of us have come from somewhere, we all are made up by

a lot of collective experiences, and that gives us our point of view on life, I'll tell

you a little bit about mine, my parents are not alive and so they can't defend themselves,

but this is pretty close to true.
