We have a little housekeeping stuff I want to bring you up to date on before we launch into this episode. This is the last regular

episode of the podcast for us this year. We're going to have one more episode, but that's going to be a

Golden Dukes focused episode. Basically, it's not going to be a normal news episode where Kate and I discuss the

news of the week and so on and so forth. If you don't know about the Golden Dukes, this is actually

a 17th annual Golden Dukes. This is our awards ceremony that we've been doing, I think, since

2007. There was actually one year we didn't do it. It's basically

awards for greatest corruption, scandal, betrayals of public trust, but very much in a TPM

vein, not a lot of tutting and over seriousness.

We like to luxuriate and in a perverse sort of way celebrate, you know, achievements in terrible actions and scandal and corruption.

So, as I said, this episode, the last regular episode of the year.

And then we will take a break for the holidays.

And we'll be back the first week of January, back to our regular schedule, which is normally Wednesdays.
