the normal cycle, and those weren't federal elections, but they give you some sense of where the

parties are. Last night, we had a special election in Tennessee, and it was one of these ones.

It's hard to predict with these things. You don't have a lot of polling. There's a general understanding that Democrats are really energized, probably going to outperform. This was a Trump 22 district measured against the 2024 election and a very conservative district anyway. I believe the latest result, the Republican ended up winning.

I think there was, you know, that was the assumption, although, you know, we're in a weird time.

So there was definitely Democrats had some hopes, Republicans had a lot of fears.
