Have you ever wondered what to pray for when it came to missionary friends, maybe somebody your church supports?

Well, here are some ideas from Jim Elliot coming up later as he and Ed talked about

prayer requests many years ago. Do you love the

great old hymns of the faith or maybe you don't know of the richness of that

musical heritage? I want to put in a plug. of that

I want to put in a plug for hymns.

I talk about this often and my husband and I of course travel around and are in very many churches,

few of which really know any of the old hymns.

We get invited to many churches where they don't even have hymn books, all they have is the overhead.

And even when it is a church where a few hymns get sung,

it doesn't seem as over many people know them anymore.

because my father herded us all into the living room every morning after breakfast and we always
