There is nothing worth living for unless it is worth dying for.

My grandmother lived a life devoted to Jesus, and today her talks have been made available in their original form.

So you too can be built up through the insights and mysteries God revealed to her throughout her ministry.

John 15 verses 5 to 8. I am the vine, you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him he will bear much fruit. Apart from

me you can do nothing.

If anyone does not remain in me,

he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers.

Such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me, and my words remain in you,

ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my father's glory that

you bear much fruit showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Last night we talked about the fact that no branch can bear fruit by itself

and of course that is repeated again. Jesus makes it

crystal clear that we cannot bear fruit by ourselves and I'm assuming that during the past two years if you

went to your conference where you talked about the Potter and then the other one

about the Shepherd, you're very well aware of the fact that we are nothing but helpless

clay, stupid sheep, and useless branches.

What does that do to your time? and useless branches.

What does that do to your self-image?

Well, let's not waste two seconds on our self-image.

Let's focus on Jesus Christ, and by comparison with him,

just remember that we are exactly what he describes.
