All right, here we are. This is Jay Brown Yoga Talks podcast. My name is Jay Brown,

0:17.9

and this episode is scheduled to post 12 hours before the solar eclipse of 2024.

0:26.6

So if you're hearing this, it means that the world has not ended yet.

0:32.7

And if, in fact, the world has ended, and this is the last thing I ever post. It feels remarkably

0:40.5

appropriate that my guest today is my dad, High Brown. Now, if the world hasn't ended,

0:49.0

and this is the first time you're ever listening to this show, it might not be the right episode to listen to

1:47.2

And today, I'm offering you this talk with my dad.

1:52.0

And I certainly did not plan for this.

1:55.5

It's not something I would have conceived of doing necessarily, but I was talking to my dad a few weeks ago.

2:02.4

And we don't talk very often.

2:04.7

We do keep in touch, but my dad lives very far away.

2:08.8

And the last time I saw him was in January of 2019.

2:15.0

And out of nowhere, he made this offhanded comment about feeling like he wanted to find a way to

2:23.9

reflect on his life and have it recorded or written down and frankly i've just never heard
