And what I mean by that is how easeful and receptive are you in the experience of this moment?

And no judgments, because there's certainly a lot going on that makes the experience of life

feel not all that easeful.

And often, we don't have a lot of good models for what it even is to be receptive and receiving.

Lots of protections baked into our beings from the time we're born.

But I was sitting here thinking about how difficult things are these days and I know I've been

talking about that and sharing some about that here on the show but not wanting to lead with

all of the stuff that I have no say over and it made me think of well what is the stuff that I have no say over. And it made me think of, well, what is the stuff that I have say over?

That's what yoga seems to me to be teaching above all else,

is that as a human being, you have an amount of agency in your life.

And the efforts that you're making and the behaviors and the attitudes that we hold are reflective of that.
