And today we're talking with Mark DeVries, who is an incredible filmmaker.

He was on our Head House many, many years ago, and we're having him back because he has a new film out called

Humans and Other Animals. And we're going to talk all about that and all about a whole

bunch of other things relating to the way society views animals. And I loved this chat,

by the way. We're doing this a little bit differently because we were trying to play with sort of

the way we do the show, as you know, if you're listening to this and you listened to last week,

too. So yeah, it's a little different this time. Are we doing that okay, Marian? Like,

am I being too vague about how it's different? I think people will be confused,

but we're just launching right into the interview, so let's do it. All right. This is our chat with the

incredible Mark DeBreeze. Welcome back to our henhouse, Mark.

Yeah, it's great to be here again after quite a few years.

Well, every time you make a movie, we're happy to have you on.

Right. I should make them more quickly then, said I talk to you more.

Yeah, if you could get on that, we would appreciate that. But you have been actually doing so much. We were looking at at your bio and it's uh so i'm going to read it you can close your eyes if you want i always close my eyes when people read my bio for some reason it helps mark devreis is it de vries is it de vries it's de vries but i'm not picky okay de. It's a documentary filmmaker whose award-winning work has been seen by millions internationally.

He also pioneered the use of aerial drones to investigate environmental issues,

and he's an attorney licensed to practice law in Washington,

D.C. That's all very impressive. If you were going to add three things to your bio, what would
