Hi, everybody. Welcome to the women's dating and confidence podcast. My name is Amber, and today I want to talk about huge dating mistakes.

Before I get into that, I want to let you know that I'm going through a massive

transition right now, and this is just sort of a life update. I just moved to Portland, Oregon

from Santa Barbara, California two days ago. I'm sleeping on an air mattress in a common room

of my friend's house, and tomorrow I'm going to be moving into a different house

with my own room and everything.

And then from there, I'll be looking for a different place just because I don't know the area

at all, so I just got something month to month so I can take my time and look for a good apartment.

But anyways, I'm just swimming in a massive sea of uncertainty and transition.

And thankfully, I have like my core people here, the crew from the social confidence center and Dr.

Aziz, and that's been really amazing to have them welcoming me here.

But I've also just had this feeling of homesickness and not homesickness necessarily for

Santa Barbara, but just that feeling in your body.

And like, I remember feeling this when I would go to summer camp in middle school and in high school

and just really missing home and feeling like you're not at home.

And just feeling really disoriented.

Like, it's such a big city and I just have no idea where I am right now. And in addition, I ended a dating situation relationship with somebody that I

had just recently met in Santa Barbara and really connected with. And I was really

sad about ending that. And I will definitely share more about that. But today, I had my first day

working at the Center for Social Confidence officially full time. I've been working with them for two

and a half years, just doing

coaching sessions for some of their clients. But I joined full-time today, and I've been feeling
