But either way, few things are more frustrating than wasting your money.

And no one tries to waste money, but sometimes you just do.

A recent survey found that one out of every three U.S. citizens has fallen victim to an online shopping scam.

And overall, 73%, almost three out of four people have experienced at least one online scam.

Whether someone's stealing your identity or you bought something that never got delivered, blah, blah, blah.

In fact, on Monday,

federal authorities shut down three Indian call centers after they scammed almost $50 million

from 600 people across the U.S. That's over $80,000 per victim. In Australia, a mother-daughter

team and the feng shui expert, I don't know why it matters, but they brought it up.

They scammed people out of $46 million because people will do anything for the almighty dollar.

In Italy, a dude dressed up like his dead mother for four years to collect her pension.

You know what gave him away, Ted?

His neck beard. I'm not even kidding. His neck beard gave him away, seriously. But when it comes to trying to scam for money, a surgeon in the United Kingdom, I believe, takes the cake. Now, in an effort to scam insurance, he had both of his legs removed. Now, the fact that we know about this lets us know that he is now legless and in prison. But look, you don't have to be the victim of or the perpetrator of a scam to lose your money. I mean, hell, if you just buy a concert ticket and you look at your convenience fees, right? You realize basically the price of the ticket doubled. Hopefully the show you went to is good enough that you don't regret it.

Sometimes it's not.
