Woman is accused of romance scams totaling approximately 3 million over the last six years.

Investigators received a report involving a romance scam in excess of $100,000.

Conducted by the sheriff's office in Naples, Florida, they identified Christina Julian,

and said that Julian received approximately $3 million over the last six years from multiple victims across the country by

scamming them. She's charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense in excess of $100,000.

They say millions of people who use online dating apps for social networking sites to meet someone

have also been scammed. They say, in this instance, instead of finding romance, many find a scammer trying to trick them into sending money. And they strike up a relationship here to build trust. I get a lot of those texts probably once every other day or so. Like social media, yeah. No, I'm talking about it on my phone. Like, how are you doing? Oh, really? Yeah.
