Hey, I'm doing well.

Well, thank you for coming on the show. Before we get started, why don't I introduce us? I am Connor Eccles, of course, the managing editor of Non Zero and the host of this show, which is Non Zero World,

the weekend edition of the Non Zero podcast. You, of course, are Sina 2C. You are a senior non-resident

fellow at the Center for International

Policy and a longtime expert and advocate in issues related to the Iran nuclear file,

Iran nuclear deal. Of course, that's very much in the news this week. And is, of course,

while you're, why you're here to talk to me today. As we know,

we're going to have the potential first round of negotiations between the U.S. and Iran,

maybe direct, maybe indirect, unclear, but that's going to be an Oman starting on Saturday.

And all of this, of course, comes amid a pretty drastic kind of

escalation in the past few months in the U.S.-Iran relationship that some people fear could

turn into war. So there's a lot to talk about. I want to get your take on that. I want to get

your take on especially kind of trying to get a sense of Iran's perspective coming into these talks and maybe even the Trump administration's perspective, because I'm not sure that's as clear as it could be. But to start, could you just kind of give a sense of what you would hope to see out of Saturday's talks, like what a good

outcome to set the ground would look like? Yeah, sure. First of all, it's a pleasure to be on.
