I grew up in a really small town in northern Michigan so small that all I wanted to do was get the heck out of there going up

And I was a big reader and so I hate to really date myself, but this was pre-internet

And so I had this vivid imagination going of what the world outside would look like and so the big first risk

I would say I took was going to the University of Michigan
