I work for FedEx, and there are positions coming available to advance my career.

I've listened to all of your podcasts while delivering packages

and will use the strategies and tips for my in-house interview. I was wondering if you had any

specific tips or advice for interviews in the same company instead of switching jobs,

You are correct that in-house interviews require a different approach.

They give current employees advantages and also disadvantages.

Here are some of my thoughts on that.

Advantages.

You've already had the opportunity to prove yourself and stand out in the company.

I'm not sure how long you've been at FedEx, but the time you've spent there has already shown that you're a great employee.

When hiring someone new, there's always a question, are they as good as they seem in the interview?

Many job candidates are able to impress during their interview and then underperform after that.

Companies should prefer to promote from within.

It helps the entire company grow.
