let's jump into the interview. Becky, thanks for joining us today. Thanks for having me.

Yeah, so how about you get us started by telling us a little bit about yourself and what you do? Okay, well, I was

raised in a virtual cabinet of curiosities. When I was six years old, my parents cut my hair

and dressed me as a boy, and they dragged me to what would become the first of hundreds of

auctions. I come from a long line of master persuader auctioneers, and they wanted me to learn the

family business. So greasy sawmills, bankrupt business parks, old furniture stores, defunct

furniture stores. And the lessons I learned in those greasy warehouses

of my youth, I later confirmed in the dusty halls of academia as a graduate student in behavioral

science. And the biggest lesson I would say, other than being quizzed and learning to value

questions over single answers, was that what we see is never all that there is. And that took me through a
