there before the holidays to, well, one, work has been insane. I traveled some and I just wanted to

be a little more present with my family. So that's that. But I wanted to make sure that I had

when we think about January, we think about New Year's resolutions and New Year's goals

and all of those great things. So today I wanted to do an episode on how to set health goals

that will actually stick. And notice I didn't say fat loss goals or changing your body composition goals.

Like literally we're talking about health goals.

And we do know that if we're setting health goals that will obviously bleed over into

changing our body if that is one of our goals.

But every January, the internet and I'm sure when you go to work, if you

like work in person still, everybody is on a health goal kick. So this is one of those things

where I think it's very two-sided. You will have a camp of health and fitness coaches that are totally against like the new year

new me and like you know starting a diet then and um i am very much one of those like i don't want you to

wait for a new year or a monday um but i also do think that leaning into the New Year resolution crowd, like,

it's everywhere. When we go in stores, I was in Costco, and everything that's towards the front

right now is anything to do with weight loss. So all their protein bars, protein powders,

they have all their exercise equipment and treadmills, like everything that is positioned towards the front of the

store because they know that people, you know, after Christmas and the holidays, everyone

transitions into setting some type of health goal or fat loss goal. So with that being said, I think January is a great time

if you do have a health goal or a fat loss goal to pursue that just because there is a lot

less friction when you think about everybody else is doing it. So there's less temptation
