Hi friends. Welcome to Walking is Fitness, the podcast. I'm Dave. This week we're going to talk about exercise motivation.

How do you stay motivated for exercise? Or if you have lost your exercise motivation, how do you find it again?

And then stay with it. I'm going to talk about the

key to getting motivated and staying motivated for exercise and going to give you two practical

Let's talk first about the things that steal our motivation,

that demotivate us, particularly for exercise.

All right? So number one on my list is exercise is not fun.

And it's hard to stay motivated for exercise when you have options that are more fun, that

are more enjoyable.

For example, if you start a new exercise program and you decide to do it in the morning and you wake up

earlier for exercise at some point staying in bed and sleeping more is more fun is more

fun than exercise or at the end of the day, after a long day of work,

a stressful day of work, you come home

and there's a boatload of options that are more fun,

So the fact that exercise is not fun

Another motivation stealer is that you don't feel good physically.
