We're in the fourth week of a message series called The Road to Freedom.

I've loved this series because we've been focusing on the reality that God wants you to live free.

God no longer wants you to live with the bondage of regret and shame, the habits that seem to destroy our lives.

He's a God who invites us into freedom.

And we're going to jump into the message in just a moment, but I want to take a second to highlight something that's happening this weekend immediately after this service.

We're going to have an event that we call Newcomers Connection. Now, we have been

just kind of watching what God's been doing over the last couple of months. We've had close to

2,000 new people show up over the last two months here at Saddleback, and that's probably a lot

of you here in this service today. And you're wondering, like, what's my next step? Maybe even you're new to

faith, exploring what you believe about Jesus. Maybe this is the first church that you've ever

been a part of. We want to help you get connected, and we want to help you along your journey

as you're exploring faith. We'd love to get to know you. So immediately after our service today,

we'd love to meet you on the patio. So if you

just walk out right after service, there's a place called the hub. The team will direct you,

and we'd love to help you get connected and get to know you. So you can do that right after

service. Now today for my message, I got to just say on the front end, this is one of those messages

all week long that God was really laying a burden on my heart for what he wants to say today.

And I believe today is going to be a pivot point for many people.

I believe that today is going to be a moment that some of you are set free from decisions
