Now, today we are in the third week of a message series we called The Road to Freedom.

This is Mother's Day weekend, international campuses.

I do want to say it's not for you guys, but it is here in the United States of America.

And this is my first Mother's Day message ever.

And last year after Mother's Day, I was looking online,

I was seeing all these dads that had, like, given their wives the day off.

And I thought to myself, every Mother's Day, I make my wife work on Mother's Day.

And so for the last 18 years, she's preached the Mother's Day message.

So this weekend, she gets the weekend off. And I got to say, I'm a bit nervous. I'm a bit nervous about the Mother's Day message

because she set such a high bar. And so if you don't like this message, just come back next

Mother's Day. She'll be delivering that one. So today as we journey, we're going to look at,

first of all, Galatians chapter 5, verse 1. It's going to come on the screens. And I want to invite

you all of us together. If we can read this verse aloud, this is the theme verse for this whole

message series. Galatians 5.1, it says, it is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

I'm going to start one more time, all of us together.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

What the Bible is saying, God wants you to live with freedom.

The Apostle Paul is writing telling us that God sets us free
