You know recently Mark you had an exchange on the discussion forms is really really

interesting and led directly this cast So why don't you?

Yeah.

Why don't you tell me a little bit about that?

Because it's kind of interesting.

Yeah, we get the question.

You know, we joke that we did the podcast

about how to handle a direct who has body odor, you know, personal scent issues.

The reason we did a podcast on that, even though people laugh, is it's a real world manager

problem and I get asked that question, you know, up until the podcast, I got asked that question three or four or five times a year. So it was a real issue.

And this particular topic that we're going to talk about, what do we do if there's a layoff somewhere else and there's a massive

suddenly I have twice the work I had to do with half the people and those

those kinds of things or you know we just been given a new client and we can't

keep up there's too much work it's's overwhelming, 50% increase, so on.

We get that question and you know, I've handled it by email and phone conversations

at the end of conferences at the end of client days and what have you.

And it just happened that it came up in the forums.

And in this particular case, the question I thought

was very well worded and addressed some of my concerns about you know there's just I think the the poster a guy named Mike Annan said I can't do it I don't have the staff and and it reminded me that you know I've been meaning to

write this cast for years and I had notes on it four or five things that I

definitely wanted to say and you know just answered the forum post it was kind of long I
