Summary

Are you living like this moment is all there is? That’s what I call spiritual schizophrenia—forgetting that you were made for eternity. When we try to squeeze paradise out of people, possessions, or circumstances, we always end up disappointed. In this episode, we’ll talk about “eternity amnesia,” why it drives us crazy, and how fixing one eye on today and the other on forever transforms the way we live right now. And that's how we ought to be living as Christians.

One eye on the here and now and one eye on eternity.

You and I simply can't live as if we were not

built for eternity. It doesn't work, but so many people try. And sometimes in the craziness and in the

drama of the moment, we live like this is all that matters. And then we end up loading people with expectations that they can never deliver.

And we live moment after moment thinking that people or positions or possessions or locations

eternity. It's good to have a heavenly marriage, but it's not ever going to be pure paradise.
