You know, I've been married for almost 20 years, and recently someone asked me, how do you know

if you found the right one? Now, the truth is, if you asked me that 20 years ago, I probably

couldn't tell you. It was because I felt nervous. It was scary and it was a really big deal.

It was a lifelong commitment, and we both were nervous. And while many of my friends were getting

married for love, because their family matched them in some way, I was getting married out of faith.

And even though some part of me was questioning if I made the right decision, in the end, I knew it was right.

I feel that was truly because I'm married out of faith.

And not emotions that can change from one day to the next. And I knew that

with Islamic principles that I used, I could be confident and know how to avoid like this and

that and what to follow. In addition, I look for shared values in him, a growth mindset, a similar

desire to grow a family in faith, found that when you grow from the same place and the love between you is for Allah

subhanna and it's unwavering.

And I can say 20 years later, no matter who you try to marry, there will be some feeling

of uncertainty.

And I've also learned if you get married by love for Allah subhanna with Allah and wanting to please him.

Allah will always give you more, 10 times more, than you originally asked for.
