But is it true or is it not?
In today's podcast, I'm going to talk about how to overcome an eating disorder and what to do instead. In some typical situations, people get stuck on the disordered eating phase and have NO IDEA how to get out of it!

Hello guys, welcome back to another episode of Lean with Plants.

0:16.1

I'm Chelsea and I'm excited and stoked to talk about this episode with you today,

0:22.0

how to get out of a disordered eating pattern and still lose fat.

0:27.2

There's such a contrast of these two things and there's so much misinformation

0:32.2

about disordered eating and losing weight and where that comes from.

1:10.7

and be prepared to learn something

1:12.8

to actually help you get out of this cycle. And this is what has helped me really get out of

1:18.4

quite a disordered eating cycle, achieve my fat loss goals and actually have the most healthy

relationship with food that I've ever had. So before we go any

1:29.4

further, I think it's really important to define or talk about some of the things that are

1:34.7

considered disordered eating. Now, these are not things that, they're not all things that I

1:40.0

would consider disorder eating, but in general, when we talk about disordered eating, these

1:45.4

things are included. So one of them would be restricting your portion sizes massively. So

1:51.6

eating tiny, tiny portions of food. Another one could be skipping meals. So this is not always the

1:57.6

case if you're not hungry or if some people practice intermittent fasting and

2:02.1

they don't do that from a place of disordered eating but this could be a result of being in a

2:08.5

binge and then restrict cycle so skipping meals in that case would be a disordered way of
