If someone has a short-term rental, how much money should they be aiming to make from Airbnb

versus like R, VBO and other sites like that?

So, I mean, the platform doesn't really matter at the end of the day so if you're comparing how much money should you make from Airbnb versus VRBO or like

Expedia or whatever other platform that you're listing your property, that's not that relevant as far as what property,

I mean I'm sorry, what platform you're using for it.

But you should aim to make, you know, obviously the most amount of money that you can make in that market and the type of property that you have. So for example, if I have a studio one bedroom apartment, I can't expect to make the same as my three bedroom townhouse would do, right?

Because it's a larger property usually includes higher nightly rates and so forth and so on.

But you know, when it comes to Airbnb for me specifically, that's my main platform.

I actually don't have my listings anywhere else other than Airbnb.

And I also used a little bit Furnish Finderer which allowed me to connect with people that are directly tied to like insurance companies and they find, you know, lodging for insurers who have claims in their homes,

it's because of flood, fire, whatever,

so they locate a new place for them to stay

during the renovations of their home,

which is awesome for like midterm rentals in our strategy.

But other than that, it's mainly Airbnb for me.

I like Airbnb to kind of go back to your question.

I would try to use Airbnb as much as possible

versus the other ones.

Just because it's the easier to use, there's still the

industry standard, like everybody knows Airbnb, they feel comfortable with it. But there's going to be markets

where VRBO is more prevalent depending on the type of vacation or location where you have your properties.

You might want to choose VRBO or another platform based on that.
