One of the most frequently asked questions by bloggers is how long does it take to start

seeing traffic after starting my blog or after publishing one of my blog post?

There is no straight answer to this question because there are several variables that are in

play.

The biggest variable is going to be your blog's domain authority.

This is a score between 0 to 100, which essentially grades the inbound link profile of

a domain name.

The more high quality inbound links your blog has, the higher your domain authority is.

The higher your domain authority, the higher you're going to

rank in Google for different keyword phrases. If you bought a brand new domain name that has

never been used before, then you are starting from a domain authority of zero until you get your

first inbound link. This is a place that many newbie bloggers will get stuck and never find a way out of.

They write and write, but they never take the time to build backlinks.

While I have come across a couple of blogs that have found success with sub-20 domain authority,

it is extremely rare.

In all of these cases, the blogs were true masters of

keyword research. They had dug deep to find topics that had little to no competition. They made

all of their posts on these ultra-low competition keyword phrases, and that is what allowed them to gain all of this traffic.
