Hello, why not? My name is Jesse Mekim, and this is podcast number 467 for YNAB, where

we teach you four rules to help you stop leaving paycheck to paycheck, get out of debt,

and save more money. Today, we're going to take a little bit of a detour, though, and

we're going to answer a question that we get all the time, and it is related to how you

get a job here at YNAB. And we're at the start of the year, and good budgets that we are,

we look ahead, and we think, how do we get this job done? And what do we need to do it?

And usually, we need people. Really, really, really awesome people. And there is nobody

better in the business at finding awesome people than our very own Emma, who is in charge

of so much. But I'll just say this, there isn't anyone here at YNAB that has been more

instrumental in hiring, and I would say there isn't anyone in many businesses that

has done more hiring than Emma has. And not only has she done a lot of it, but she is

just crazy good at vetting and figuring out and filtering and finding the perfect people

to have join our team. So I had a little chat with Emma last year, and I asked her, well,

how did you get a job here at YNAB? And she had some pretty good insights, you know,

being the one that basically knows it all, on the things that you would want to know

before you threw your hat into the ring. So we aren't going to talk about budgeting today,

but we're going to answer a question that we get asked all the time, how do you get a

job with YNAB with our very own Emma?
