So, just this morning, I was thinking to myself, why is it that we always look outside of

ourselves for the silver bullet in anything, whether it's a losing weight, becoming

great at sales, becoming good at anything, learning something new?

We always look outside ourselves, something that we can buy, something that we can learn

from somebody else.

And the natural reason we do this is that we don't want to look internally.

We don't want to admit that we need to change, that it is up to us to do it.

And there's probably no other profession like sales where pretty much all of us, we spend

the first five years, I did it, I admit it, and sometimes I even slip back into it.

I was looking for the silver bullet, the secrets, the magic words, the judo move that these
