In this episode, I will be tackling one of the most frequently

asked questions by bloggers. That question is, how often should I be publishing blog post?

Every once in a while, you'll see a study on blog post frequency come out and get virally

passed along through social media. One of the most famous ones

was HubSpot's blog post frequency versus customer acquisition. It found that blogs that posted

more often had a greater chance of acquiring customers through their blogs. This was true for the

following subsets of their statistical analysis.

49% of blogs that posted once a month had acquired at least one customer through their

blogs.

72% of blogs that posted once a week had acquired at least one customer through their blogs.

78% of blogs that posted once a day also had acquired at least one customer through their blogs. 78% of blogs that posted once a day also had acquired at least one customer through their

blogs.

And finally, 89% of blogs that posted multiple times per day had also acquired at least one

customer through their blogs.

Although these numbers look nice and pretty,

it is hard to draw conclusions based upon getting just one customer ever. Pretty much every study on blogging frequency you find will point to the more blog post you make, the better outcome you're going to

have. When you look at all the studies as a whole, then you can start making a basic assumption
