background and how you started Crowdstreet.com. Yeah, so I graduated CU Boulder back in 1997, and that

was a good time to graduate. It was a good time. Late 90s, tech boom, dot com, boom. There were a lot of

opportunities available to me.

And rather than going back to Wall Street, I decided to stay in Colorado and get in the tech sector.

I eventually, about a year later, moved to San Francisco.

So I spent about six years in tech.

The dot-com bust made me decide to bail on that and bail on the technology industry and get in the commercial real

estate. So I did get in commercial real estate back in 2003. So it spent about 12 years in commercial
