0:08.7	In today's podcast, I'm going to be talking about bullying.
0:12.3	It's such a topical thing and it's a problem and as we know, you know, some social situations
0:20.9	require a lot of advocacy and intervention and bullying is one of those things that
0:27.1	has required us, according to some recent statistics, globally, one in three children
0:33.2	have been bullied in the past 30 days.
0:36.6	One in three children have been bullied in the past 30 days.
0:39.8	Young children exposed to bullying can suffer educational, social and health consequences,
0:46.0	which are offered last well into adulthood.
0:48.4	See, bullying is actually a form of tumor that is closely intertwined with the child's identity.
0:55.6	By one who's doing the bullying and the one who receives the bullying.
0:59.6	And this is unfortunately something that many children experience and participate in.
1:05.7	But there's always a root cause of why the bullying is doing what they are doing and then
1:11.2	the impact on the child who's being bullied, that'll change their behaviors.
1:16.3	And you know, people often ask me, what are the signals to look at for bullying?
1:20.3	One of the main signals to look at for is a change in your child, a change where they
1:24.8	want to go to school.
1:25.8	Now they don't want to go to school or they're had a certain frame that they liked and
1:29.5	they didn't have a certain, now that they don't, they don't like that frame anymore.
1:33.0	Or they used to go, want to go to the park and now they don't want to go to the park.
1:36.2	So any pattern change where they used to like something and they didn't and they don't
1:40.2	anymore.
