Hi, my name is John Kim. I'm a therapist who went through his own rebirth many years ago

I believe in casual or clinical with you instead of at you. I come unrehearsed on purpose

because self-health doesn't have to be so complicated.

So I was just doing bath time with my daughter Logan. She's two and change and she's at that stage where everything's a fight and for example she will if you don't have a kid this will seem foreign to you if you do have a kid you'll know exactly what I'm talking about

she wanted to so I put her in the back picture I picked her, I put her in the bathtub because she's, you know, too short to go in herself.

Or she's right at that point where she can but on her tiptoes.

And so she screams and says, I want to do it myself, I want to do it myself, I want to do it myself I want to do it myself so I

take her back out of the bathtub and then let her do it and a half second

into her trying, she says,

can you help me?

And looks at me like,

what the fuck are you doing?

You're an adult, I'm the child.

Are you serious right now right like that kind of look and so there's a lot of this

going from screaming defiance to a smile that kind of thing. It's very it's very confusing. It's almost like

you're in an abusive relationship basically. And so most of the day she's been very difficult, you know, dinner,

screaming no, doesn't want this, doesn't want that. And I've been kind of

exhausted. Today's the day that I watch her most of the day because

Vanessa my partner was running an online retreat. So I take her out of the bathtub

because she has to pee.

She says she's going to pee, take her out, and I'm drying her and then she doesn't want to go in the bathtub.
