What is the secret to becoming an incredible investor?

And what do most of us get wrong when we try to become a top level investor?

And today's guest is the epitome, in my opinion,

of an elite investor. Lon Welsh founder and general partner of Ironson Capital. Welcome back to the

show, brother. How are we doing? I'm fantastic. Thanks for having me again. I know you're probably

taken back by the, I want to say compliments, but the reason

why I wanted you to be on the show today, it's really important.

We met in person a little over a month ago and it was an awesome lunch.

We had a great time and I got to know you and I already knew you were brilliant.

I already knew you were well versed.

But there were a couple of things that stood out to me that, in my opinion, makes just an

incredible investor.

I want everybody to listen to this because this may be simple, but it's not easy.

And these are two things, two habits or skills that Lon exemplifies.

The first one is Lon is a curious person. Curiosity is just an

incredible thing to have because when you're curious, you're not attached to the idea that you know

something. It's you're going out there and you're learning something. Lon wanted to learn how to

paint. He's like, I'm going to learn how to paint. And all of a sudden, he got on. Lon's teaching a college.

And Lon inspired me to go back and to actually start singing lessons again. So I want to give a

big shout out to there. Curiosity is the currency of learning. I think that's the first step
