| 0:53.2 | glad you're here. We're glad you're joining us for episode 169. Today we're going to talk with my buddy John Michael Morgan. And one of the things right out of the gate that we discuss is his name. I ask him about dealing with a common name like John Morgan as a personal brand. He incorporates his middle name Michael part of the time. Sometimes he doesn't. So we talk about that. We talk also about his evolution of shifting from one topic to another, how he has made that work. This is a question I get from speakers a lot. I're going, hey, I'm speaking on this one thing, but I want to pivot to something different. How do I do that? And so we talked to John exactly how he's done that for him and his business. We talk about issues of mindset for speakers, how to overcome them. This is a really key thing. This is something that we haven't really got much into in the past, but I think John shares some really great insights and wisdom here. Also, we talk about a great thing he learned from Seth Godin while introducing or while interrupting breakfast that Seth was having. |
