What up guys? Welcome to the Chichitsu podcast. Our first one in

0:03.6

2006. This podcast, if you guys are getting ready to go after some new goals or

0:10.6

you're using that that sort of arbitrary line in the sand of, you know, January 1st,

0:16.4

2006 to start anew getting into something or getting back to something maybe you've been out of right maybe you're not

0:22.9

of jih Tutsu maybe you've been out of lifting maybe you've never lifted before maybe you're getting back on a diet whatever it is

0:28.5

and if you find that you're one of those people that struggles a lot like you get into things and for

0:33.9

some reason you start off with a lot of motivation, but you don't keep going and

0:37.8

you never seem to like, you seem to be back in the same place you were the next year, maybe even a worse spot. We're going to talk about some different ways to actually hit those goals and also talk about probably the biggest reason most people fail on their goals. And it's something that I remember a friend of mine who's a Navy SEAL instructor was talking about how he could get people to quit. You know, these young motivated recruits who, you know, said they wanted to do this thing and then he gets them to quit during their training. And he'll talk about that, which I think is a good idea as to why most people fall short of reaching their goals year after year, even though they start with so much enthusiasm and like, you know, inspiration in the

1:10.9

beginning. And so we'll talk about that, how to redirect your thoughts, what you should be focusing

1:14.9

on instead. And I'm coming this from my standpoint, what's been useful to me. And so hopefully this

1:20.6

could be helpful to you guys as well. Big thanks to our sponsors for helping make this thing happen.

Epic role is a jihitsu brand company that makes everything from geese and rash guards and shorts to compete and to train in. And they make everything from t-shirts, joggers, fanny packs, just anything and everything Jiu-suits related. They've got great designs, great customer service, great quality stuff. I get my Nogi gear made through them because I like the cut of it, I like the quality of it.

1:44.4

I've used a lot of other companies that are big names and Jitsu and, you know, like tit for tat, quality for quality, bang for your buck. I feel like Epic Roll is on par with any of them. And they've been my favorite. I really like the people over there. They've been good to me. and I consider them friends.

They've been making it. I think they've run with the first ones, really, making it. And then they also make a lot of other products now. So they have the CBD products that you're probably familiar with.

2:28.8

They also have CBN products, which can be useful for sleep.

2:31.6

They also have functional mushroom products like Rishi and Lions Main,

2:34.2

which have a lot of other cognitive and supportive functions.

2:34.2

And again, for me, I use most of their stuff that's in products like Rishi and Lions Main, which have a lot of other cognitive and supportive functions.

2:39.5

And again, for me, I use most of their stuff that's centered around recovery, because for me, as I get older, everything that I can do to just sort of get a couple extra
