0:28.0	So you know what most people think with SEO is like what hacks can we end up doing? How do we optimize title tags, meta tags,
0:36.4	click the rate, all this kind of stuff, write more content. But here's the biggest thing that people

0:43.0	If you look at your analytics or even your Google search console
0:46.5	and you look at your traffic year over a year,
0:49.2	you probably have a lot of pages that we're getting traffic that just decline.
0:52.4	Why is that? It's because they're
0:54.3	just not updated. Look for the term auto insurance I was using this example the other day.
0:59.8	In the month of January there's roughly 300,000 searches in the United States, 1.4 billion articles.
1:06.3	There's just way more content than the amount of searchers.
1:11.1	Like if you just do that rough math, right? 1.4 billion 300,000
1:15.6	searchers you're looking at you have roughly 4,600 articles per searcher.
1:21.2	That's way too many. So the issue isn't content. The issue is this
1:26.0	fresh updated content. You know we my team spends the majority of their time
1:30.9	updating my old content than they do focusing on new
1:34.9	content. I write no more than one piece of article a week, sometimes only one
1:38.7	every other week, my team spends the majority of their time updating the content.
1:43.2	That's what's driving traffic.
